The matcha croissant is a must try! Visiting LA for a few days and saw a lot of recommendation for this place. Ordered some bakery items and brunch items. The matcha croissant is my absolute favorite, croissant is super crisp and filled with matcha paste in the middle. Also loved the beef tartare, first time finishing the chip before the meat in a tartare dish haha. Also liked the porridge (not pictured) - super flavorful and creative. Didn’t like the French toast that much - a little too sweet. Seating can be limited especially when there’s good weather. On the pricier side ~$60pp post tax and tip

Great place for lunch and pastries! Service was great and food (Scandinavian) was good. Out door seating only, and limited free parking.

Food is very creative, and the portion size is really good. The beef tartare is very good, and the rice porridge is nice too. Finding seats is not easy on a Saturday afternoon since you need to get it yourself.

Destroyer in Culver City is an absolute gem. The food is creative, thoughtfully prepared, and full of bold, unique flavors that really stand out. Every dish feels intentional and beautifully presented. It’s no surprise the restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star, which truly reflects the quality and consistency of the experience. The atmosphere is modern yet relaxed, and the service is friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing. A perfect spot for a memorable brunch or a casual meal that still feels special. Highly recommend.

Very unique menu for brunch. I got the rice porridge with a poached egg on top and loved it. I also got to try the rockfish dish and would not personally order it but my sister liked it a lot. The french toast also looked and tasted incredible. The single slice of bread was the thickest piece of french toast I’ve ever seen. I got the forest herbal tea which was a nice soothing choice. It was a $40 endeavor for a cup of tea and bowl of porridge which is on the pricey side but definitely worth it for the experience.

I visited Destroyer and had such a unique experience! The concept of this place is very modern and creative — it feels more like a design-forward café than a typical restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and full of interesting flavors. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and different from the usual brunch spots in LA. The atmosphere is minimalist and stylish, with a calm and aesthetic vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed, inspiring meal. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for something необычное and memorable in Los Angeles. Definitely worth a visit!

If you’re looking for a brunch spot that feels both elevated and effortless, Destroyer is it. I’ve been twice now, and both visits have completely blown me away. The food is creative without trying too hard, beautifully plated, and genuinely memorable. Every dish feels thoughtful and fresh, the kind of place where you’re still thinking about what you ate the next day. The service matches the experience, warm, attentive, and seamless without ever feeling overbearing. And the setting really brings it all together. Sitting outside under the blooming trees in their alfresco space makes the whole experience feel calm, airy, and just a little bit special. Perfect for a slow brunch you actually want to savor

Food was great and the staff was nice. I got the sweet potato waffle and it was really good, but it definitely was not sweet at all and very savory and I expected it to be like a chicken and waffles sweet and savory. I didn’t mind that it wasn’t sweet but I guess I would say it was a different flavor than I expected. If you go on the weekends, it’s possible that you won’t get CD because there’s only so much seating outside but it’s definitely worth it and if you can go on a weekday, I would recommend that.

Went to have a late lunch after a long bike ride. I had heard a lot about this place and I antes to try it. The area is beautiful and the atmosphere is very uplifting and fresh overall great vibes. I ordered the schnitzel which is they’re most bought item and a oat milk latte. The schnitzel was incredible, it’s had a great crispy coating yet very juicy and full of flavor. It is seasoned to perfection and garnished with chili flakes and chilli oil that gives it a light touch yet not overpowering the flavor of the chicken. It also has a side salad that is very fresh and delicious flavor to the dressing which also included some of that chili oil. My only downside is that I didn’t love the oat milk used in the latte, but other than that great place!
